NATIONAL RESEARCH AWARD PROFESSOR DR. SALVADOR AZNAR BENITAH

T he board of the FCCR, on the motion of the Directorate and the Medical Advisory Board, approved by unanimity the nomination of Professor Dr. Salvador Aznar Benitah as National Research Award.

D r. Salvador Aznar will inaugurate Soria Saludable 2017 on the 19th October at Aula Magna Tirso de Molina. At this event, he will present to those who attend his findings in this field — findings that have been considered to be “of social and especially health and oncological impact in the world research forum”.

T he Fundación Científica Caja Rural, in their task to promote health in Soria and for Soria, presents a mobile application to help in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and promote the Mediterranean diet.

I t has a simple and intuitive interface that allows you to organise your daily diet as well as your physical activity through routes of different durations. It also lets you know, in the event of emergency, the exact location of the defibrillators placed around Soria.

oria Corazón is a pioneer application in the field of prevention of cardiovascular diseases, but it also provides links to articles and other health related contents.
