The board of the FCCR, on the motion of the Directorate and the Medical Advisory Board, approved by unanimity the nomination of Professor Dr. Salvador Aznar Benitah as National Research Award.
LHis findings have supposed a change in the composition and additives of a great number of food products, not only in Spain but in the whole world.Equally outstanding are his discoveries regarding the influence that palm oil has in the development of solid tumours. (It can be consulted here).
The prize is worth €12.000 and is bestowed biennially. Dr. Salvador Aznar will inaugurate Soria Saludable 2017 on the 19th October at Aula Magna Tirso de Molina. At this event, he will present to those who attend his findings in this field — findings that have been considered to be “of social and, especially, of health and oncological impact in the world research forum”.
